Utah Adventure Shoot

Easily one of the coolest shoots I've ever done is this one right here. But there are several reasons for that ---- About two months ago I made the decision that I wanted to go to Utah and do some shoots. Ever since I started photography I've wanted to go to Utah. It's basically a photographer's heaven. There are mountains + amazing couples around every corner. Once I decided I was going to Utah, the thought crossed my mind about reaching out to my favorite photographer, Cara (on instagram she's @caramia and her work is such an inspiration to me). I really was not sure if anything would come of it but I DM'd her on instagram asking if she would mentor me and once she said yes I was so ecstatic.

I was a little nervous once I got to Utah because I had traveled alone, got a rental car, and I was staying at an airbnb for the first time alone. On top of that,  I was nervous to meet Cara because she's amazing lol. Well basically once I met Cara all of my nerves went away. She was incredibly relational and easy to talk to. I could tell she was genuinely interested in getting to know me which truly means so so much. After I spent the afternoon learning from her and getting all my questions answered we went and did this adventure session with Taylor + Nick. This was honestly one of my fav memories from the entire Utah trip. Taylor + Nick were so genuine and fun to work with. We had a blast with them --- we talked The Bachelor + danced. It was a pretty great shoot to say the least.
